Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, GuardMe, Inc. (“Company”) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GuardMe software (“Software”) on devices you own or control.
You may not:
GuardMe uses a privacy-first approach. We process data to protect you, but we do not identify, track, or profile you.
DNS Processing: Your DNS queries are processed by GuardMe servers to block threats. We see query data in transit but do not log queries with any identifying information. Queries are processed and discarded.
Traffic Inspection: To detect fraud and counterfeit products, some traffic to flagged domains is routed through our security proxy. This inspection: - Analyzes content for threats (phishing, counterfeits, malware) - Uses AI to detect fraudulent product images - Does not log or store your browsing activity - Does not associate traffic with your identity
Warning Banners: When you encounter a flagged domain, you may see a warning with options to proceed or decline. Your choice is recorded anonymously to: - Reduce false positives - Improve protection accuracy for all users - No user identification is attached to these decisions
GuardMe installs an anonymous device certificate for secure communication: - What it contains: Random serial number only (no personal information) - What it enables: Secure updates, entitlement verification, anonymous metrics - Privacy guarantee: Certificate cannot be linked to your identity - Your control: Certificate is removed when you uninstall
To improve GuardMe, we anonymously track: - Installation and uninstallation events - App usage frequency (launches, not browsing) - Protection effectiveness metrics
This helps us understand: - How well GuardMe is working - Where we can improve the experience - Overall user satisfaction trends
No personal identification is possible from this data.
Your preferences are stored on your device only: - Protection settings and preferences - Event history (viewable in-app) - No cloud sync of personal data
You have the right to: - Access your data (stored locally on your device) - Delete your data (by uninstalling the Software) - Object to data processing - Contact us with privacy concerns
The Software configures your device to use GuardMe DNS servers for: - Blocking access to known malicious domains - Protecting against phishing and fraud - Filtering harmful content
You understand that: - DNS queries will be processed by GuardMe servers - Some legitimate websites may occasionally be blocked (false positives) - You can report false positives through the application
The Software installs certificates for security purposes:
Root CA Certificate: Enables inspection of encrypted traffic to detect: - Phishing websites - Fraudulent product listings - Malware and other threats
Device Certificate: An anonymous certificate for: - Secure communication with GuardMe servers - Entitlement and update verification - Anonymous usage metrics
Privacy Guarantees: - Traffic inspection does not log your browsing - Device certificate contains no personal information - All certificates are removed on uninstall
You consent to certificate installation when you proceed with the Software installation.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
GuardMe, Inc. does not warrant that: - The Software will be uninterrupted or error-free - All security threats will be detected or blocked - The Software will be compatible with all systems or configurations
IN NO EVENT SHALL GUARDME, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim.
This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by: - Uninstalling the Software - Deleting all copies from your devices
GuardMe, Inc. may terminate this license if you breach any terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies.
GuardMe, Inc. may: - Release updates to the Software - Modify features and functionality - Update these terms with notice
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

By installing or using GuardMe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement.
